You’re Fired

So one of my blog friends Salena just got fired for spending too much time on the Internet at work. I bet it’s mostly from being on Meebo most of the day. I have chatted with her at work many times. I was the one that showed her Meebo. Sorry.

That got me starting to worry. I mean, I was online for 3 hours straight at work on Sunday. It’s not like I was sitting at the computer for 3 hours straight. I just had the Broncos game streaming from my home computer with Orb. I was still doing my job, but if they checked the logs they would see I was online for 3 hours.

Everybody does stuff online at work all the time, and I suppose technically they shouldn’t be. I don’t think my job really cares. As long as the work is getting done and nobody is doing anything illegal.

I would at least hope I would get a warning that I was spending to much time online. Salena didn’t even get that.

Instead of Meebo you should try Koo IM.

You would *think* they would’ve warned us first but nooo… eeh.. it sucks, but I was SO ready to get out of there. I totally don’t blame you. Hell, I use meebo at home. It rocks my socks. Now I’m off to try this Koo IM thingy..
