Make Your Own Ringtones

I have never liked the idea of buying ringtones. I have never bought a ringtone. I don’t see the point in buying a song I already have. Plus a lot of the times I can’t find the ringtone I want. I have always made my own. It’s not hard to do, but then it’s not all that easy. You have to figure out the exact format then need to be in to work on the phone. Once you know that it’s a piece of cake to edit ringtones with Audacity. Well, I just found a site that might make that process a little easier. Buildatone is an online program the supposedly does the job for you. I am testing it out right now. I will report back on how well it works.

**Update**

Ok, the site seems slow as shit and keeps going down.  It must be getting to much traffic.  I will have to try again later.  I hope the site stays around.

My cell phone is several years old. No camera, no chat, no internet, no GPS, its only a phone. I can’t download or create ringtones other then what came default with the phone. I know, I am behind the times. When I get a new one I will go for ringtones I guess. go ahead laugh.

create-ringtone.com has some decent software, but its only a trial period. I’ve been using mobile17.com. It’s a little slow, but free and you don’t get any spam from them.
