The Rare Post About Politics

Yesterday at work a coworker was sitting at a computer trying to figure out who to vote for. I don’t know why he was trying to decide between Mitt Romney and John McCain, he missed out on that election. Only one of them is going to get the nomination. He watched a Mitt Romney speech and decided he didn’t want to vote for McCain because McCain is for “queer marriages”. I don’t know why this one topic is such an issue still. Why would anybody choose who to vote for because of one issue? I work with a bunch of republicans so Obama and Clintion are out of the question. Mostly because one is black and the other is a women. It drives my nuts when they start talking politics at work. I just keep my mouth shut and laugh at how narrow minded they all are.

North Dakota is primarily a red state despite having both senators and our representative being democrates. It would be nice if our state went blue, but really, our 3 little electoral votes don’t really mean much anyway.

I wanted to vote for Obama in our primary, but the polls didn’t open until 2:00 and I had to be to work at 2:00. It didn’t really matter anyway since Obama won our state.

I sure hope Obama wins the nomination. I actually kind of like him. I never get to vote for someone I actually like. For that reason I am thinking Clinton will win. I am not a fan of Clinton and was actually thinking about voting McCain if she wins, but then had a change of heart.

I was thinking about how much I don’t like Hillary and how much more the republicans probably hate her. I would actually vote for her to get back at the republican for making us put up with Bush for the last four years. Yeah, that’s a dumb reason. So what! It doesn’t really matter who wins this election. Anybody will be better that who we got now.
