I’m a big fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson, and my DVR is set to record every new episode of NOVA scienceNOW. It’s a great show and the clip above is from an episode. It’s about something everybody has wondered. What would happen if you dug a hole through the center of the Earth and jumped in it?

I always complain that my two stall garage is too small. Parking in this guys garage takes some talent. I wish the video was in English. It would be nice to know what the guy is saying.

I was bummed not being able to get tickets for Motion City Soundtrack last Saturday at First Ave in Minneapolis. I guess I will have to catch them next time. I have seen them six time, and every time it’s amazing. They put together a nice little video that makes me kick myself even more for not getting tickets earlier.

Mount Everest

I believe I mentioned that I am catching up on old episodes of Everest: Beyond the Limit on my Roku box. That show has really piqued my interest in Mount Everest. I think the people that climb it are crazy, but it’s pretty incredible that they can. I have added a bunch of other documentaries about Everest to watch on my Roku, and today I ran across a great presentation from Dr. Ken Kamler talking about his Everest disaster of 1996.

This video just goes to show how small and insignificant we really are.
