So it’s time again to upgrade our cell phones. This time we are both getting Blackberries since iPhones aren’t available around here. The Wife got hers yesterday, but I couldn’t because the phone I wanted two years ago was out of stock, so my upgrade date got pushed back a few weeks. I figured that would happen, and they said they couldn’t do anything for me in the store other then sell me the phone at full price.
Today I decided to email Verizon’s customer support to see what they could do. I few hours after I sent the email I got a call. It was the best customer service call I have ever taken. She had no problem upgrading me since it’s so close. She even put a rush on it to get it shipped out today. I should have it by Thursday or Friday.
I haven’t been a huge Verizon fan, but they have the best coverage around here, and that’s what count when it comes to a cell phone. I am a bigger fan now. Now I just hope they get iPhones in two years.
