01.26.09Shift WorkAt my job it is required that someone be there 24/7, 356.25 days a year. We work 12 hour shifts, so I either work from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. 07.09.08Day OffToday I finally get a day off of work. I work 12 hour shifts at work, so usually three days is the most I ever work in a row. Because of people taking vacations, I ended up working five days in a row. Pretty much all I have been doing it working and sleeping. I am looking forward to the check next friday though, 20 hours of overtime will be a nice little chunk of change. Now time to get caught up on my RSS reading and podcast listening.
