Hot in the city
So, it’s been a few days since I have blogged. I have been busy working this week, plus one of my friends is home from Kuwait for a month or so. He is a teacher and is teaching English in Kuwait for two years. So the last two days we have been hanging out and doing stuff. Now he is off to visit other friends and family before he heads back.
Today we had the brilliant idea to play a little tennis. It’s been over a year since I have played any tennis. I am way out of shape, but it was fun. It’s funny how 86º doesn’t feel so hot after it has been in the 90ºs for so long, but 86º is still frickin hot. I was soaked with sweat when we were done. My buddy kept on saying, “Hey, it could be worse, we could be in Kuwait. It’s probably 120º there”.
I couldn’t imagine that kind of heat.

The sky is falling
So something weird is happening outside. Water is falling from the sky. I guess some people call it rain. It hear it is a common thing in other parts of the country this year.

Monitor Chain
I saw this over at Erica’s and thought it was pretty cool.
Photograph this blog post (including your monitor and its immediate surroundings), and post the resulting pic on your blog. Then the next person photographs your blog post and posts it, and so on. Leave your post URL in the comments so people will be able to follow the chain, and link your image to the post you photographed… this way people will be able to zoom into the monitors by clicking.

What is…
So I am a huge Jeopardy fan. I have seen every episode for the last two years since I have had TiVo. Well, almost every episode. There was that one where we lost power, but basically I have seen every episode for two years. Well, here is a cool site that has a ton the of episodes archived. All the answers, and all the winners. Go now, count how many answers Ken Jennings got right.

The Fake, The Snake, and The Birthday Cake
One of my favorite bands Punchline just posted a bunch of cool videos on their MySpace page. If you are a fan check them out. If you aren’t, what’s wrong with you?
My favorite one was a fan made video for The Fake, The Snake, and The Birthday Cake.

Space Invaders Anybody?
So I found this yesterday and was going to blog about it, but when I went to blog it, it was taken off of You Tube. Now Boingboing blogged it and it seems to be back up.
Cool beans!
You can read more about it at Boingboing.

Check out these crazy pool shots. I wonder how many takes it took him to do some of these.
