Most people have probably never heard of frazil ice before. If the conditions are right, we get it in our rivers around here, and it affects my job at work. This is a pretty impressive video of some major frazil ice. Thankfully our rivers never get this bad.

Pavement was one of my favorite band back in the 90s, and of course you all know Motion City Soundtrack is my current favorite band. This video almost brought tears to my eyes. Two of my favorites collided. Motion City covering Pavement’s “Cut Your Hair”. It really can’t get much better than this.
