I love this Jenny Owen Youngs song!

A few months ago I discover Billy the Kid. She’s a Canadian folk singer, and she’s damn good. Over the weekend she released this little ditty on YouTube. I love the song and the message even more.

I love love love their new song, and can’t wait for the next album.

Matthew Sweet’s Girlfriend is easily one of my top 10 favorite albums, maybe even top 5. In college I could have glued the CD in my CD player and been happy with it. It was constantly in there anyway. He is currently playing the album in it’s entirety on tour, but I was unable to go. The above album show clips on the current show. So bummed I couldn’t go.

Here is a live performance of “My Favorite Accident” by Motion City Soundtrack from 2003. It’s around the same time I fell in love with them.

I don’t listen to much top 40 music at all, so I have no idea how old this song is. I thought Macklemore had one-hit-wonder written all over him, but after hearing this song this morning, my mind might be changed about him. I kinda like this song, and love the message.

Candy Hearts are a band that I have been loving a lot of lately. Today they released their latest video for “Miles & Interstates” off of their latest EP The Best Ways to Disappear. It’s good shit.
