motion city soundtrack @ First Ave
I was bummed not being able to get tickets for Motion City Soundtrack last Saturday at First Ave in Minneapolis. I guess I will have to catch them next time. I have seen them six time, and every time it’s amazing. They put together a nice little video that makes me kick myself even more for not getting tickets earlier.

Mount Everest
I believe I mentioned that I am catching up on old episodes of Everest: Beyond the Limit on my Roku box. That show has really piqued my interest in Mount Everest. I think the people that climb it are crazy, but it’s pretty incredible that they can. I have added a bunch of other documentaries about Everest to watch on my Roku, and today I ran across a great presentation from Dr. Ken Kamler talking about his Everest disaster of 1996.

Mandelbrot Set Viewer
Mandelbrot sets are a little over my head as far as math goes. I vaguely understand them, but love the Jonathan Coulton song about them. In this video Adam Wolf made an Arduino based Mandelbrot set viewer. While that’s cool, I think watching them along with the Jonathan Coulton song makes it super cool.
