I am sitting in the livingroom enjoying my wifi and watching my iPod on the TV. I have watched TikiBar, Strong Bad, Rocketboom, zeFrank, Cranky Geeks, and now am watching DL.tv. There are so many cool vlogs vidcasts video podcasts or whatever you call that video delivered by RSS. Who needs cable these days?

So I am trying to like the new Rocketboom, but there is just something missing.  It’s just not the same without Amanda.  Now instead of looking forward to Rocketboom everyday, now I look forward to zeFrank.  He is so funny and addicting, and if he ever blinks I will let you know.

Why do people still think Will Ferrell is funny? I thought he we funny in his first couple of movies, but he is the same character in every movie. He is the new Jim Carrey. Funny at first but gets old quick. I will probably see Talladega Nights eventually, but I am not expecting much. I am sure it’s the same old Will Ferrell that I seen a hundred time. Who knows, I will probably like the movie. I always end up liking the movies that I have low expectations for over the ones that I expect to be good.

So the other day I was at work in the locker room getting dressed and my boss walked in. He went to his locker, grabbed a Playboy, and then went to a bathroom stall. I was kinda scared to leave the locker room because I had to walk past the stalls. I don’t want to know what he was doing with the Playboy. Hopefully he is one of the few people that actually read the articles. There are articles in playboy, right?

I have been a fan of The Academy Is… for what seems like forever. Here is their new video for one of my favorite songs “The Phrase That Pays”.

So I have mentioned one of my favorite new bands, The Action Design on here a few times. They are Agent M from Tsunami Bomb’s new band. A few months ago I sent them my address because they were sending out a surprise mailer. Well, look what was in the mail today:

I got a pin, a sticker, and a bookmark. The coolest part in that is came straight from the band. Totally DIY. I can’t wait until they release an album. Oh, and check out that stamp.

Man, it’s another hot day.

Yep, it has hit 100º again in North Dakota. I gotta remember how bad 100º feels. That way when it is -40º I can be thankful…or something like that.

**Update** So I guess the high was 102º. That broke the old record of 98º. It hit 112º in Bismarck though. 112º? Holy crap!

Today I burned the Hak5 Best of Season One DVD. Man I love Hak5 and what I have seen of the DVD so far is awesome. I can’t believe what is possible with such a small budget. I can’t wait for season two of Hak5. If you are a geek you need to watch Hak5.

So, it’s been a few days since I have blogged. I have been busy working this week, plus one of my friends is home from Kuwait for a month or so. He is a teacher and is teaching English in Kuwait for two years. So the last two days we have been hanging out and doing stuff. Now he is off to visit other friends and family before he heads back.

Today we had the brilliant idea to play a little tennis. It’s been over a year since I have played any tennis. I am way out of shape, but it was fun. It’s funny how 86º doesn’t feel so hot after it has been in the 90ºs for so long, but 86º is still frickin hot. I was soaked with sweat when we were done. My buddy kept on saying, “Hey, it could be worse, we could be in Kuwait. It’s probably 120º there”.

I couldn’t imagine that kind of heat.

So something weird is happening outside. Water is falling from the sky. I guess some people call it rain. It hear it is a common thing in other parts of the country this year.
