Monitor Chain
I saw this over at Erica’s and thought it was pretty cool.
Photograph this blog post (including your monitor and its immediate surroundings), and post the resulting pic on your blog. Then the next person photographs your blog post and posts it, and so on. Leave your post URL in the comments so people will be able to follow the chain, and link your image to the post you photographed… this way people will be able to zoom into the monitors by clicking.

What is…
So I am a huge Jeopardy fan. I have seen every episode for the last two years since I have had TiVo. Well, almost every episode. There was that one where we lost power, but basically I have seen every episode for two years. Well, here is a cool site that has a ton the of episodes archived. All the answers, and all the winners. Go now, count how many answers Ken Jennings got right.

Spell it with Google
This site is kinda cool. You can spell anything with Google Images.

The Fake, The Snake, and The Birthday Cake
One of my favorite bands Punchline just posted a bunch of cool videos on their MySpace page. If you are a fan check them out. If you aren’t, what’s wrong with you?
My favorite one was a fan made video for The Fake, The Snake, and The Birthday Cake.

Space Invaders Anybody?
So I found this yesterday and was going to blog about it, but when I went to blog it, it was taken off of You Tube. Now Boingboing blogged it and it seems to be back up.
Cool beans!
You can read more about it at Boingboing.

Video Day
So I guess yesterday was music video day. A bunch of bands on Fueled by Ramen posted videos and Michael Butler from the Rock and Roll Geek Show posted a video of his band American Heartbreak. Good stuff.

Check out these crazy pool shots. I wonder how many takes it took him to do some of these.

100º is too hot
So I guess we hit 100º this weekend. It’s the first time it has hit the triple digits here in like thirteen years or something. It was frickin’ hot. I don’t know how people down south handle it. We had friends over and grilled out on Saturday. We wanted to eat outside, but man, we didn’t want to be cooked along with our food. We had to grill outside and run in and eat in the AC.

Hot enough
I probably haven’t mowed the lawn in probably three weeks. It has been a hot dry summer. I couldn’t tell you the last day it rained. I could care less if our yard was green. I am not going to waste money watering our yard. As soon as it rains it will green up just fine.
Today I decided to mow. Not because the grass needed it, but because all the weeds are getting long. They sure stay green and grow with out the rain.
I thought I would get out and beat the heat. As soon as the dew dried up I was out there. Then my wife called and needed something at work so I had to run there. Then I went to fill the gas on the mower…gas can empty. So I ran got gas. By the time I started mowing I didn’t beat the heat at all.

Fricken 82º out. Sure, some of you may think that isn’t to hot, but this is North Dakota we’re talking about.
It is going to be one hot weekend.

I guess it could be worse, it could be -20º. Actually, I would probably prefer -20º.
