Truth in religion
Religion has always interested me to a point, but anytime I read anything about any religion, it bores me to hell. I’ve tried reading the Bible, but to me it’s pretty much unreadable. Why people call it “The Good Book”, boggles my mind. It’s anything but.
What really interests me about religions is if any of it is based on actual truths? Did any of these people really exists? Most of the stories in the Bible are obvious made up myths, but is there any truth? I haven’t ran across any good books about the historic accuracy of any religious text yet, but I haven’t really looked either. Are they all bunk or just too old to really know? I don’t know.
One thing I’ve always heard is that atheists know more about Christianity than most Christians do. I pretty sure I don’t, but I was surprised at my result of this quiz. I know it doesn’t mean much, but I got 14 or of 15. Not to bad for someone who knows very little about religions.

Candy Hearts’ old van
One of the bands I’ve really been loving lately is Candy Hearts. I’ve blogged about my love for them in the past. In the above video they show off the van that they are traveling the country in. Big Red may be a piece of rock-in-roll history, but a band this good needs better wheels. These are the bands that need our support. Go buy their shit. It’s really good. They recently released their first single off their upcoming album, All The Ways You Let Me Down.
Check it out!

Don’t be fooled today and be skeptical everyday
So it’s April 1st, that day that it sucks to be on the internet. The day when nothing is true and nobody is fooled. People are really skeptical of everything today. Too bad everybody wasn’t this skeptical the rest of the year.
People should really be more skeptical about everything. If something is too good to be true, then it probably is. If something sounds crazy, you should listen to both sides of the story. There is probably a reasonable explanation for every crazy thing you here. So many people are fooled by charlatans, alt-med pushers, or other pseudoscience promoters. People need to learn to be skeptical the other 364 days too. Be smart. Don’t let them fool you.
