While I’m not from Fosston, I have driven through Fosston and do know people from Fosston, so I thought this was rather funny. Anybody from a small northern Minnesota town would probably get a kick out of this video too.

Do I Talk Funny
So we just watched an episode of Dirty Jobs and they were in Waubun, MN at a leech farm. Waubun is about an hour from here. I actually have family that live in Waubun. The whole time we were watching it we were laughing at how the Minnesotans talked. I have lived in Minnesota since I was six. The past ten years I have been in North Dakota, but I am right on the border, so it is still basically Minnesota. Do we really talk that funny, and why do I notice it on TV and not in real life? Weird.

Gopher Game
My wife got free tickets to the Gopher game this Saturday. She doesn’t want to go, so I am taking my Brother. He lives in the Cities, so we will be hanging with him this weekend. I have never been to a college football game before. It’s actually been years since I even watched one on TV. It should be fun just hanging out with my Brother and his Wife for the weekend anyway. It’s probably the last weekend of the year away without having to worry about road conditions. Should be fun.
