Almost here
So the original ship date for my MacBook was originally the 12th. I thought that was a long ass time, but it is coming from China. Well, the ship date is now tomorrow. The FedEx site is saying 10:30 tomorrow morning. I wonder how accurate that is? Oh well, it should be here tomorrow. I can’t wait.

Numb
I hate getting fillings. It’s not so much the getting the fillings that suck, it’s the Novocaine. Does this shit ever wear off? I bet the filling was all complete before the Novocaine fully kicked in. I could totally feel the drilling. It hurt quite a bit. Now it’s two hours latter and I am totally numb. This sucks.

Flag burning
I was going to write a post about how stupid it is that the US wants to ban flag burning, but Scott Adams of Dilbert fame says it all. Go read it.

MacBook on its way
Well, I just spent a bunch of money. The wife finally gave me the ok to buy a MacBook. I went with a white one. I couldn’t see spending extra to get it in black. I prefer the white anyways. I did have to upgrade to 1GB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. It it suppose to arrive here on the 12th. I am kinda kicking myself for not paying the $18 extra for the three day shipping. Oh well, I guess the 12th will be here before you know it.

What is Ken-Jennings.com?
Remember Ken Jennings? Well, me being a big Jeopardy fan and seeing every single one of his wins, sure remembers him. Well, he has a blog. I just started reading it.

Scoble home
So now that Robert Scoble is moving to the SF area he has his Seattle home for sale. Looks like a pretty nice place, but I bet the same house would be half that price here in Fargo.

Picklephobia
I know there are a lot of strange phobias, but pickles? That’s crazy.
(via boingboing)
Anybody know what they call the fear of pickles?

Getting old
It was a long and boring weekend at work. About the only thing that was exciting was that the radio station we listen to was having an all 90s weekend. The 90s was a strange decade. A lot of the music that I liked actually got radio play in the 90s. We heard some Urge Overkill, Matthew Sweet, Juliana Hatfield, Lemonheads, Janes Addiction, and many more. It brought back some memories hearing songs I remember from high school and college. It got me thinking. Why do bands make their best stuff when they are young? Dang near all the bands I listened to back then are either no more, or not making very good albums. I tried to like the new Pearl Jam cd, but quite frankly, they haven’t put out a good CD since Vitalogy. The Chili Peppers are the one exception. Their new cd is pretty good. Now days I am still listening to young bands, but it’s weird now that I am older than most of them.
Now I gotta go and play around with digg 3.0!
