Cassini’s “Wave at Saturn”
If you’ve been on the internet the last couple days you probably saw the latest amazing picture of Saturn that Cassini has taken. If not you can see it here. It’s even more amazing with some explanation to what you are looking at. Emily Lakdawalla at the Planetary Society has put together a nice little video explaining what we’re looking at. It’s quite amazing.

An Open Letter from Billy the Kid
A few months ago I discover Billy the Kid. She’s a Canadian folk singer, and she’s damn good. Over the weekend she released this little ditty on YouTube. I love the song and the message even more.

Cat in zero gravity
I’ve always wanted to see how my cats would react to zero gravity. I’ve always wanted to take them for a ride in the Vomit Comet. Guess what? NASA already did it, and yep it’s on YouTube, and as one would expect, it’s hilarious.

Matthew Sweet’s Girlfriend tour
Matthew Sweet’s Girlfriend is easily one of my top 10 favorite albums, maybe even top 5. In college I could have glued the CD in my CD player and been happy with it. It was constantly in there anyway. He is currently playing the album in it’s entirety on tour, but I was unable to go. The above album show clips on the current show. So bummed I couldn’t go.

Motion City Soundtrack from 2003
Here is a live performance of “My Favorite Accident” by Motion City Soundtrack from 2003. It’s around the same time I fell in love with them.
Best. Band. Ever.
