This Wild Life – “History”
I am really liking what little I have heard from This Wild Life so far. They remind me a lot of Dashboard Confessional. Their debut album will be out on Epitaph Records on May 27th. I’m really looking forward to it.

We lost a great one 20 years ago today
I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Candy Hearts’ old van
One of the bands I’ve really been loving lately is Candy Hearts. I’ve blogged about my love for them in the past. In the above video they show off the van that they are traveling the country in. Big Red may be a piece of rock-in-roll history, but a band this good needs better wheels. These are the bands that need our support. Go buy their shit. It’s really good. They recently released their first single off their upcoming album, All The Ways You Let Me Down.
Check it out!

The Wonder Years “Dismantling Summer”
I am bummed that I missed seeing The Wonder Years the last time they came though town. Here is their video for “Dismantling Summer” off their latest album The Greatest Generation.

Punks Don’t Dance
It’s a little poppier than I usually like, but I kinda dig this new Crystalyne song.

RIP Mom
So I’ve been pretty quite on the interwebs these past couple weeks, partly because I’ve been busy, but mostly because I have nothing to say. My mother passed away unexpectedly two weeks ago. I plan on posting more about her, but just not feeling it now.
Today Billy the Kid posted a cover of one of my favorite Sugar songs. It was one of my favorite songs from my senior year of high school, and it’s really fitting for what I’m going through now.

The Best Thing (That Never Happened)
Since I’m in a little blogging funk, here’s the latest We Are The In Crowd video for your viewing pleasure. I love the new song, and can’t wait for their new album to drop on February 18th.
