I find and read a lot of cool stuff throughout the week on the internets. Most of them I want to blog about, but they usually aren’t big enough and I don’t have time to blog them a lot of the time. Winter is here.  The snow isn’t here yet, but I am sure it’s on it’s way.  When I left for work this morning it was 5º.  I didn’t plug my truck in last night because I didn’t think it was going to be that cold.  My truck didn’t like me too much for it.  It started just fine, but it was a little slower that usual.  Now it’s plugged in.  It starts so much nicer when it’s plugged in.  Poor thing has to sit outside in the cold all winter.

I have never been good at saving money.  There always seems to be a new tech toy that I want that always seems to get my extra money.  Since we are planning on buying a house sometime soon, we have been saving money like crazy.  Saving money is now becoming addictive.  Sure I want a XBox 360 and a Wii and a Nintendo DS, but I don’t want to take money out of our savings account.  Last week when I paid bills and balance the checking account we had an extra $600.  I could have easily bought a toy, but instead I transfered it to our savings.  It’s kinda fun watching that number grow.  I don’t know if it is as fun as a XBox 360 though.

So it sounds like the snow is coming for good.  It is suppose to snow Tuesday and Wednesday.  We will see if it happens.  It is cold enough for it to happen.  I have been waiting for a nice day to clean up all the dog crap in our yard, but I am beginning to think our nice days are done.  I guess I should do it today before the snow flies.

This Picture a Day thing is fun, but it gets hard to think of things to take pictures of.  Especially now when it is cold out and the Sun goes down so early.  Days like today when I work all day I don’t get to see the Sun.  I get home and it’s cold and dark outside and I have about three hours to thing of something before it is my bed time.  So if my pictures suck and are boring that is why.  Want to see some better pictures?  Then give me some ideas.

I got home from work today and the house was all decorated for Christmas and the tree was up.  Kind of early for me, but I so glad I didn’t have to help.  I hate putting up the tree and decorating.  Yeah, I am a scrooge, so what!

It’s been quite around here lately.  Not because I have nothing to blog about.  When I am not around a computer I have all sorts of stuff to blog about.  Once I sit down at a computer I have nothing.  We are taking off in a bit to go and eat too much.  We should be home in time to watch the Broncos game.

I usually don’t put creamer in my coffee.  Not because I don’t like, but because it’s just one more thing to have to buy and have around.  Well, the other day I picked up some pumpkin spice creamer.  This shit is great.  Now I am always going to want it and it is only available for a limited time.

I guess I live pretty close to the the world’s tallest structure, the KVLY-TV tower.  I couldn’t even tell you where it is, but here it is on Google Maps.
