Last night my wife said Rumsfeld would be canned if the Democrats win.  I didn’t think it would happen, but it looks like he is stepping down.  I guess she was right.

I stayed up late last night watching the election coverage.  It’s so much funner to watch when your side is winning.  It was fun watching the Democrats dominate almost everywhere.  I didn’t think they had a chance at the Senate though, but slowly through the night the Republican lead was getting smaller and smaller.  I went to bed once I found out the Democrats won in Missouri.  I didn’t think they would have a chance in Missouri.  When I got up at 6:00 this morning everything was the same.  Still waiting on Virgina and Montana.  It’s really close.  Probably going to be a couple of recounts, but at least this year we have the lead before the recounts.  I like our chances.  No matter who wins though, it looks like Americans want a change.

So this weekend my MacBook started doing the random shutdown thing that everybody has been talking about.  It’s kinda making me nervous.  The nearest Mac Store is four hours away.  I am upgrading the firmware now.  I hope it fixes the problem.

So Doogie Howser is gay.  Didn’t we all know that already?  Nothing wrong with it, but I thought it was pretty obvious.

Are you sick of political ads yet?  I’m not.  I hear people complain about them all the time, but I have hardly seen any.  I guess that’s what TiVo, iPods, and the Internet are good for.  I watch all my TV on TiVo no commercials.  I don’t listen to the radio, only my iPod, no commercials.  I get all my News off the net, no commercials.  This is a good time of the year to be geeky.

I’m pissed.  I paid off my Macbook in three months to avoid paying interest on it.  I could have paid it all off right away, but I got 90 day free interest when I got it so I thought what the hell, might as well wait and get the free interest.  I figured 90 days equals 3 months.  I guess I was wrong.  My 90 days was up on the 2nd and I paid it off on the 12.  I guess 90 days is two months.  BASTARDS!  Now I owe another 40 bucks interest.  I guess I learned my lesson.  From now on 90 days interest free now means 60 day interest free to me.

So if have been reading my blog you know I am a big Fan of The Action Design. They are a pretty new band comprised of a couple members of one of my other favorite band Tsunami Bomb. Now you can check out a couple of different songs from their first EP on their MySpace page. They switched them up a bit. You can also still order the EP. They only made 1000 of them and they are all individually numbered. I got number 46. It is a great EP and way worth the 6 bucks. The only problem with it is it’s going to leave you wanting more since it is only a 5 song EP.

I was so in the blogging mood today, but I was stuck at work.  Now my brain is to tired to think.  I think I am going to go to bed early today.  Man, this getting dark early sucks.

Screw the religious right that think Halloween is destroying Christianity, Halloween is a big candy company conspiracy.  Just like Valentine’s Day was invented to sell flowers, I think Halloween was invented to sell candy.  I can’t believe how small the bags of candy have gotten.  Fun size my ass.  When I was a kid I didn’t find the “fun size” very much fun, and they have only gotten smaller.  I just spent ten bucks on four bags of candy with the equivalent amount of chocolate as maybe four candy bars.  I am sure I could buy the same amount of candy tomorrow for three bucks.  Conspiracy I tell you.
